Buangkok Green has 991 recorded HDB homes in eight residential blocks, checked on 20 October 2026, Singapore time. Blocks 581 and 582 carry 2016 completion labels; Blocks 987A, 987B, 987C, 988A, 988B and 988C carry 2013 labels. Their recorded heights range from 16 to 20 storeys. Two additional buildings in the street inventory record no homes and are excluded from the residential count. The completion labels describe the buildings and do not establish each flat’s lease commencement.

The stock consists of 267 two-room, 113 three-room and 458 four-room flats, plus 153 homes categorised as studio apartments. All appear in HDB’s sold-stock columns; the street records no rental-stock units in this inventory. The studio-apartment stock is concentrated in Blocks 581 and 582, which also contain two-room homes, while the 987 and 988 blocks contain the recorded three- and four-room supply. Preserve those distinctions when checking layouts and tenure documents. These are stock classifications, rather than advertised availability or a statement that every category has the same resale conditions.

There were 25 registered Buangkok Green resales in the complete October 2025–September 2026 window. Five two-room transactions had a S$370,000 median and ranged from S$350,000 to S$385,888. Two three-room transactions were S$500,000 and S$520,000, giving a midpoint median of S$510,000; this is a particularly small sample. Eighteen four-room transactions had a S$647,500 median and a S$585,000–S$700,000 range. The period’s matching resale records cover those three room types, so they should not be used as a studio-apartment price series.

All 25 transactions carried the Model A label and a 2015 lease commencement, despite the wider inventory’s different building completion labels. The observed two-room flats were 47 square metres, the three-room flats 68 square metres and the four-room flats 92–93 square metres. Remaining leases recorded at registration ranged from 87 years 5 months to 88 years 3 months across the sample. These details make the sale evidence more specific than a street-wide average, but floor, condition, layout and the small sample in some types still matter when comparing an individual home.

Property.co maps Buangkok MRT, NE15, at a minimum straight-line distance of 749 metres from a Buangkok Green residential block and Renjong LRT, SW8, at 896 metres. LTA’s rail map identifies these stations, and its Sengkang LRT information describes that system’s connection to Sengkang MRT and bus interchange. The map minima may begin at different blocks. They are not measured walking routes, travel times or confirmation of sheltered access; check the actual station entrance and trip from the particular building.

Yio Chu Kang Primary School’s official site confirms its address as 1 Hougang Street 51. Property.co’s nearest-block reference places the school 230 metres away in a straight line from a Buangkok Green residential block. For a household investigating the school journey, the exact block, crossings and current gate arrangements need their own check. This address and distance do not establish official registration distance, admission priority, eligibility or available places, and should not be treated as an enrolment assurance.

Buangkok Park Connector gives this street a specific green-route reference: NParks places the 1.5-kilometre connector along Buangkok Green, from the Yio Chu Kang Road junction to Sengkang East Road. NParks also records a link to Punggol Park through Serangoon Park Connector. Investigate the section relevant to the particular block and intended outing. The route’s total length is not a flat-to-park distance, and its presence along the road does not by itself confirm the nearest entrance or an uninterrupted path from every home.

Use Buangkok Green’s street listings box for matching published Property.co homes, and browse Hougang homes for sale and rent to compare the wider town. The recorded stock ranges from studio apartments and two-room homes to four-room flats, while the selected year’s resale evidence comes from the 2015 lease cohort. Check an advertised home’s own category, size, lease documents and layout before choosing a comparison, and keep the two-sale three-room sample in perspective when interpreting its median.
