Redhill Road: housing cohorts, flat sizes and registered resale prices

Redhill Road’s recorded housing inventory combines two distinct building periods. HDB’s property data checked on 19 October 2026 lists nine residential blocks and 1,549 homes: two blocks completed in 1968, four in 2004 and three in 2005. The older blocks are recorded at ten storeys, while the seven later blocks are 30 storeys high. Begin a comparison with the actual block rather than treating the road as one uniform housing cohort.
The inventory separates 674 four-room and 522 five-room sold flats from 281 one-room and 72 two-room rental homes. The sold categories total 1,196 and the rental categories 353. Keeping that distinction visible matters when researching a purchase: total housing stock describes the neighbourhood, while rental inventory should not be counted as resale supply or homes currently offered for sale.
HDB recorded 30 Redhill Road resales during the complete October 2025–September 2026 registration window. Fourteen four-room sales had a median registered price of S$1,039,000 and ranged from S$845,000 to S$1,155,000. Sixteen five-room transactions had a median of S$1,202,944, within a S$1,035,000–S$1,330,000 range. These are historical registrations, not asking prices or valuations for every current listing.
All 14 four-room registrations were 100-square-metre Model A flats, while the 16 five-room transactions were 115-square-metre Improved flats. Both groups included leases starting in 2005 or 2007, separate from the buildings’ completion labels. These recorded areas, models and lease cohorts provide a more useful comparison framework than one combined road-wide median; condition, layout and floor still require an individual check.
Property.co’s current rail guide identifies Redhill (EW18) and Tiong Bahru (EW17) among the surrounding stations on the East–West Line. Assess the journey from the particular block, including the relevant entrance, crossings and any bus connection. A station reference for a street does not establish a walking time or a suitable access route from every home.
Gan Eng Seng Primary School’s current official contact page confirms its campus at 100 Redhill Close. Use the primary school’s own information when investigating school-day journeys, rather than confusing it with Gan Eng Seng School. The confirmed address does not determine a particular home’s official registration distance, admission priority or eligibility; those require an address-specific check.
For recreation, NParks describes Alexandra Park Connector as a 1.7-kilometre route from Tanglin Road along Alexandra Canal to Zion Road. Its published length is the connector’s length, not the distance from a Redhill Road home. NParks also notes that the Tanglin Road–Delta Road stretch is not accessible to inline skaters. Check the intended section, access point and current notices for the activity planned.
